KSÖ – Competence Centre for a Safe & Secure Austria (Austria) and Security Delta (HSD) (The Netherlands) have officially become two qualified issuers of the CYBERSECURITY MADE IN EUROPE Label, the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO)’s marketing tool promoting European cybersecurity companies and increasing their visibility on the European and global market.
As of this month, the European cybersecurity market can count on a total of 18 issuers of the CYBERSECURITY MADE IN EUROPE Label. The tool created by ECSO in 2020 raises awareness on the value of cybersecurity companies originating in Europe and increases their visibility among potential business partners and investors. More strategically, the Label contributes to building up Europe’s digital autonomy by establishing cybersecurity as a beacon of excellence in the European digital value chain through the promotion of European companies in the sector.
“We are proud to be a partner of ECSO in strengthening the European footprint in Cybersecurity. The CYBERSECURITY MADE IN EUROPE Label already is an important part of creating a credible and sustainable European digital autonomy”, said Alexander Janda, Secretary General, KSÖ.
„This is a great new milestone in our cooperation with the European Cybersecurity Organisation (ECSO) and Cyberveilig Nederland. Now that we are a recognised publisher of the Label, this further opens the door for Dutch cybersecurity companies to be even more visible on the European and global market. The CYBERSECURITY MADE IN EUROPE Label can make an essential difference here for these companies and for the sovereignty of Dutch and European cybersecurity services and products”, said Joris den Bruinen, Director Security Delta (HSD).
The Label can be issued to cybersecurity companies from the European Union (EU27), European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and European Economic Area (EEA) countries, as well as from the United Kingdom (UK).
